Phonics Card Deck: R-Controlled Vowels

Description

The phonics patterns in this deck include the classic r-controlled vowels. In other words, when a vowel is followed by an r, the two letters paired together make a new unique sound, such as: ar (in “car”), or (in “porch”), er/ir/ur (in “fern, bird, burn”). There are 15 different words to play with, and 2 of each word, making 30 playing cards in all. The deck box also includes directions for 3 suggested games to play.
